Wedding Planner Paris: 4 Wet Weather Tips

Paris in springtime is usually the best time for weddings! Seriously, it’s not too cold and sometimes you still have the cherry blossoms on the trees. So outdoor weddings are “PARFAIT” this time of year. Except this year, hhmmm, this year mother nature has been moody.

Of course we can’t control the weather, right? But the difference between trying to wing-it for your paris elopement versus having an english speaking wedding planner who’s knowledgeable of the city, wet weather options and has the vendor contacts to turn a major weather change into a beautiful plan-b for your wedding day, is priceless.

So last week when we had to change our venue option with just 24 hours under our belt – we opted for our Plan B. Indoors meticulously decorated into a lush floral oasis. Nothing like the heavy rains we were having. 🙂   The funny thing was by the time we finished the ceremony had our cocktails and then went outside for a photo tour – the rain had luckily cleared up for some magnificent photos.

1. Umbrellas – they can be stylish!
2. Invest in a plan-b – you won’t regret a wet weather plan location ready
3. Trust your vendors – communicate your changes to all your guests and vendors, they’ll totally understand.
4. Have fun – it’s not the end of the world ( you can even trash that dress!)
